Drop The B.E.A.T. GOAL

DROP THE B.E.A.T (Bully Ends After Talking) is our program addressing the many forms of bullying present in the lives of youth today.

Whether it’s physical, verbal or cyber, our goal is to discuss cause-effect, as well as the role self-confidence and communication play when dealing with this topic. Through dance, spoken word, poetry and drums, we will keep the audience engaged as we discuss how to cope and ultimately overcome bullying! The program concludes with a dance workshop for all to participate in. Kabuki Dancers are a group of performing artists dedicated to the improvement of our community through art and self-expression.

Follow THE B.E.A.T (Bully Ends After Talking) is the second part in our focal program, Drop The B.E.A.T that addresses the many forms of bullying present in the lives of youth today.

You guys came to Lawtell Elementery School...and it was so motivating and inspiring.

They came to my school and encouraged kids to come up and talk about their bullying experiences. I was on of them. It was very emotional and 50 % of the audience was crying because of the kids that went up there and how sad it was.

My people, making great things happen for Lafayette and the surrounding areas. Teacher friends, friends with kids, camp leaders... if you get the opportunity to catch one of these highly uplifting and funkadelic performances, it will change your life.
