The History of Breakdancing

Breakin' It Down Goal

In this program we discuss the history of the first original Hip-Hop dance…BREAKIN! Different types of moves discussed are: Toprock, Uprock, Footwork, Freezes, Poses and Power Moves. We also talk about the pioneers and dance crews that popularized and brought these styles into mainstream culture. The program concludes with a dance workshop and is approximately 45 minutes in length.
